Twin Buckle Straps

The twin front straps are positioned close to the outside edges of the front pocket.

This unusual placement changes the proportions of a traditional satchel and gives Bonnie its recognizable front design.

The olive straps contrast with the deep red Crazy Horse leather and emphasize the structure of the bag.

Circular Flap Detail

Italian Crazy Horse Leather

This Bonnie Satchel is handcrafted from Italian Crazy Horse leather.

Crazy Horse leather is known for its distinctive pull-up effect and naturally changing surface. Bending, rubbing and everyday handling create lighter and darker areas, subtle marks and tonal variations that gradually become part of the character of the bag.

Rather than remaining perfectly uniform, the leather becomes increasingly individual with use.

Shoulder Strap

The shoulder strap is made from heavier leather for additional strength and stability during everyday use.

Stitching & Finish

The bag is hand stitched using 0.04 in / 1 mm waxed thread.

The edges are individually finished, and high-stress areas around the handle and shoulder strap attachments are reinforced as part of the construction.

Hardware

Bonnie uses brass-tone metal hardware:
